NYTA - Snowboard or Ski Adventure!

Ok ok, so there was a snowboard trip thread which conjured up the idea of deciding who would be willing to go. Just a heads up for those who do Snowboard/Ski and want to go as a group, I'm heading up to Camelback, PA this weekend to ride on Sunday. If you guys want to meet up there let me know. The ride situation I just can not sit down and figure out as I wont be driving myself, however people who do have cars and are willing to pool up together please take the initiative and do so.
Beginners are welcome to ride with us, hey you have to learn somewhere. It's one of the most exzillerating experiences you will have (besides sky diving) and I'd highly recommend it.
Camelback is about 2.5hrs from NYC. From the looks of it, I will be hitting up camelback almost once a week. I encourage you all to do so as well. Its great exercise and not to mention tons of fun. So lets start the posting and see who is down for what. If we can meet there or not, and possible ride situations. I'm not saying you guys have to go every weekend, but it'd be a nice change from the every-night social club scene. Encourages TAs to get to know each other outside of the strobe lights and redbull vodkas.
So post it up and we can gauge the interest of the NYTA Community along with the surrounding areas that are also interested. Lets ride... |

LOL!
Theres like no natural snow up there, when they have a few feet, than Ill invite people over :)... but its not a big house, so I cant have like 30 people in there. Theres 2 bedrooms (my neice and nephews room is completely off limits) and there are 3 couch's in the living room. My sisters bed can literally fit like 3 people... so if any 2 girls wanna share, I dont mind. :p
And this is in the poconos, so I dont exactly encourage sleeping on the floor because of potential bugs, but I do vaccuum regularly so it would be completely up to whomever comes. |

lols watch out there might be an invasion...cabin party with decks booze and then out to the mountain after partying all night long. i know TFST would consider this as a weekend get-a-way. as for the no sleeping on the floor...did anyone say anything about sleeping =T?
i'd say party it all night and then hit the slopes 8am |

I'll be honest, its hard for me to stay awake past 3am (signs ur getting old) but i distinctly remember from my trip to vermont that to reduce any cracked out feeling is best overcame by adrenaline rush! and what more would snowboarding provide besides the most thrill and exzillerating experience then flying down the mountain carving snow kicking up some nice white powder. I'd give a thumbs up to bringing a nice bottle of liquor with you. |
