hey noree, there is a huge range of ear plugs you can get.
1.) if you are a serious, clubber, music goer, DJ... and don't mind dropping a couple hundred on custom ear plugs then def. go that route. they cast them exactly to your ear size, shape & drum width.
2.) guitar center offers a variety of ear plugs as well. one of the better ones they carry is around 25$. tell the guy you want the ones that simply decrease the decibel level. there are some ear plugs that actually make the music sound like you put your hands over your ears(very muffled), and there are others that just drop the decibel level
btw how was digweed last night? kinda mad i missed it. if you want i can get some links on those custom ones |

Have them custom made to fit your ears
I costs a bit but they'll last forever |

| My school donated ear plugs to my physics class for a lab we were doing. Turns out they work nicely. All they do is lower the decibel level; it was still damn loud, but it made standing in front of a speaker stack for eight hours so much more comfortable. |

I use a set of Hearos that Mr.S got at Guitar Center...I think they run around 15-20 bucks and have about a 20db drop...and retain sound quality...and if you lose em...not to big of deal.
I have custom made ones for trap and skeet shooting. Though they aren't made for music, just the fear of losing them in a dark crouded room isn't worth the bling bling I had to drop for them. |

haha right on man! well there are a few companies i can personally recommend:
1.) http://store.yahoo.com/earplugstore/jbcuearpl.html
2.) http://www.sensaphonics.com/
if i were you, i'd go to an otologist(ear doctor), or even call and just see if they can recommend you to anyone who does custom ear plugs for music and noise reduction. let me know about that set! |
