O man, Chicago (where I am) is supposed to get a foot of snow, plus it was freezing raining earlier, so that will coat the roads with ice!

| Hmmm, I'm in Colorado and its snowing pretty nicely here. Which sucks 'cause I was planning on driving to Denver earlier but delayed 'cause of it, now it turns out there's probably gonna be much more tomorrow. |

| Yeah, it's coming down really hard right now. Hopefully it'll snow enough that my work in the Loop will shut down too. At least now there's a good excuse when I show up late. I think you're going to get your wish Connerman2000. |

we have snow days when the roads are iced over and there's a metre of snow.... and the only definite way for school to be cancelled is if the power goes out.

:p And can you believe that 5 years ago, school was cancelled because of -40 wind chill? In Canada, people would be tanning in that weather.

never had a "snow day" in 12 years of school and we averaged 300 inches of snow per year....hardee-har har
That said...they cancelled 3 days of work last year because the airport was closed due to an ice storm and all the aircraft had 2" of ice on them...kinda like big popsicles. |
