Yeah, that came out like before the tech came out...which was a long time ago.
Anyways, I still say its a fair cd player, its just way overpriced. If it got down to 600-700 it would be alright. |

| I was using these the other day at guitar center...they seem to have fixed the 'video game' sound on the scratching, but the pitch lock still hasn't been fixed ;) |

Thats what the video game scratching problem was wasnt it?
The scratch sound becomes "video gamish" when pitch lock is turned on. |

| when he was scratching it didnt really sound like the other 2, not only that it sounds like a video game but i think that it sorta sounds cdjish, im not too sure. If you watch when it's like "can you tell the difference" thats waht i noticed. Maybe im wrong |

| I thought the technics sounded really crappy at least compared to dennon and pioneer. |

| I recently (like afew hours ago) finally had an actual good play around with the Tech CDJ and the S3000, gotta say don't like either of them, The Tech looks great till you touch it then it felt like a toy and well just didn't like using it, and the Denon, well I dunno if I was using it wrong somehow, but trying to use it to cue is an absolute bitch it seemed, I'g go to recue it and it would jump back to the old one, other features on it seemed good, I just mainly didn't like how to cue and setup the cd, plus the buttons just don't seem very responsive to me due to them being kinda bulky, I still think the CDJ1000 is leagues ahead, don't anyone get offended by this if you own one of them, this is just my opinion and everyones different, guess I'm just to used to how Pioneer make there CD decks. |

Scratching with the pitch lock on is a bit of a no brainer...
The whole point of scratching is to change the pitch and create clicky sounds.
I have to say that I think the Technics CDJ is probably the biggest disapointment of 2004.
Cheers
