Haven't the answer already been posted?
If you want to re-install palettes, go here
Click the brush icon > upper left corner, click the brush > the > arrow, "reset tool preset" I think this will do =)
If you want to reset the whole thing, simply go to add/remove programs, remove if you want the program to be removed, or repair or equal to fix what ever problem you have,
OR buy the real thing, the cretive suit package =) |

i'm kind of jumping topics here, but i figured this question is relevant and i don't want to create a whole new thread, but...
why is Photoshop CS better? i installed it on my computer when our company got it but i'm still using version 7.0 because i've been too lazy to transfer all my custom layer styles, shapes, patterns, brushes, etc... and i also noticed that once i edited a file in CS, that it would not open anymore in version 7. i've read articles, but i'd like to hear from some of you why you prefer CS over 7. maybe i'll actually take the time to switch all my over, but honestly version 7 does everything i need it to. |

There's nothing exceptionally important. The digital photography tools have improved, the file browser is very nice, and the filters system has been revamped. |

Same here with the versions.
There tends to be almost no point in upgrading all the time with Adobe software that's what I've come to learn.
They only add one or two cool features but nothing much and surely not enough to justify the backwards compatibility issues you'll run into by running the brand new version that no one else has. |

Yes the RAW importing is great. Newer white balancing features. Color matching. New histogram system.
more of an overview here. |
