Ditto. Especially since I've heard several VST-producers make music with a lot more substance and creativity than what A&B have been responsible for. |
yes, also anjuna has a forum just like TA for produceres.
This statement offends many people, including me and i think thats ing harsh!.
Not visting the site anjunabeats anymore, lame people can piss off! |

The Above & Beyond recording/mixing studio is a basic set up, but the result are absolutely professional. “Now we do everything inside a dual-processor Power Mac — and I mean everything,” he says. |

Funny?
I guess Endre is a geek now..why did they sign him then? |
i dont recall every saying it was funny. secondly, they said typical VST productions, not all. Thirdly, they've only signed 2 of endre's tracks.

You don't find it ironic at all that they chose to write something like that on the Anjuna site? :stongue: |
Slightly, but i think asot trance takes the cake. I find the labels productions to be far less memorable than Anjuna's, plus they flood the market with this crap, releasing absolutely everythign they can. Anjuna is a bit more picky with their releases. and also i must make the point htat you've bought at least 4 anjuna releases from this year. Just ot of interest, how many asot releases have you bought from this year?

that's absolute bollocks, and here's proof:
DOWNLOAD AND VIEW WITH QUICKTIME
fairly recent footage. It may be true that they are out and about, and idea springs to mind and they use the laptop to get the idea down, but they always buff up the sounds etc using analoge equipment when they get back to the studio. i.e. pos - remember was written and layed down in 1 night by paavo on his laptop, but then recorded properly in the studio afterwards. And yeah they are very supportive of MAC's.
They are all for VST production really, but they were simply expressing in a jokingly form the connotations currently associated with bedroom producing. Is that not fair enough? They've said before that VST's are the way forward, it's jsut not quite there yet. The tools are becomming mroe and more readily availible, meaning anyone can get them and anyone can make a track. Result being the market flooded with half ass cliche trance mainly supported by the asot label.
Anyway, armin + a&b are friends and this was a joke like comment, a friendly dig i the ribs if you like. It's comical how serious some of you take it sometimes. chill out :)

I doubt A&B nor anyone from Anjunabeats is responsible for that entry because it is in their AnjunaWiki, where anyone can post an entry.
And this is the second thread with the Armin/soup photoshop. Crave attention much? :wtf: |

Nell do you produce?
If yes, define a VST production please. Or get anjuna to define it...
About Endre
this is what it says if you enter their site
Welcome to the Anjunabeats Web site!
Welcome to Anjunabeats, the leading UK-based trance and electronica label. Anjunabeats is home to artists like Above & Beyond, OceanLab, Smith & Pledger, Super8, Alt+F4, Kyau vs. Albert and Endre (check the artists section for a full roster). This site will keep you fully updated on all Anjuna artists, as well as give you the opportunity to support them by buying their music from the Anjunabeats Web Store. The shop offers sample audio clips of all releases, plus the chance to buy MP3 downloads, vinyls, CD's and merchandise. Make sure you also check out the forum, for lively banter on a range of music-related topics
as you can read, i think they are proud to have Endre with them..the geek it seems now.
And no no1 cares about what i said, but if they are allowed to make a statement, so can i..and mine will be piss off with lame people like the ones that wrote it. |

anjunabeats are responsibel for that entry. i was on the site, refreshed when the wiki pages went up. no-one had even had a chance to edit them at that point.
anyway imo anjuna is a much better label than asot. anjuna and lost language are definately my favourite labels out there. |
