As the topic states. During Tiesto on Dec 11, I was pumping my fist to a particularly excellent tune, and my watch broke. One of the links broke right out of the goddamn band, and took one of the tubes from another link with it. Same problem as my other broken watch. No jewellry stores in the entire area can fix this, and a new band from Esquire is $330. that. Not covered under warranty either. :whip: "Aftermarket" metal bands always look cheap, ty, and never quite match the watch. I refuse to get a leather band.

if one of the link pieces broke and you used to warethe watch a little loose, then you can get rid of the damaged piece and just join the rest. 1 missing link-piece wont differ much (unless you used to ware your watch tight).
if it's just the tubes that broke, then fixing it should be a piece of cake... |

Disagree 100%
I only wear Oakley... its a fashion thing i guess... (which is strange since i dont wear like name brand clothes and ) i just love oakleys! amazing fit (so much better than cheapos) and the styling is sick on them. i just cant do imitation on sunglasses
i dont understand ppl who always loose their glasses... never ever had that problem... plus i guess some ppl worry about damage/scratchage, but i just naturally take really good care of my oakleys all the time. |

The watch won't fit my wrist now, with that missing link. It wasn't really tight, but it wasn't too loose either. It'll be INCREDIBLY tight on my wrist, tight enough that I declare it not to be fitting.
What a friggin waste. |

watch repair shops will insert the missing link. it will cost you less than a new watch. or get a brand new band. |

As do I, but you won't catch me buying iridium julliets (which I already have) for my next pair... Just not worth the chance. I guess the watches taught me a lesson. |

Oh yea, I am in agreeance (<--- hehe, cool word!) with you then...
currently, i only own to pairs, my old Five Frames and a new pair of Splices
See, i dont even like the metal frames (too cold i find around ur head, plus they dont hold as snug as the others (ie. jackets, half-jackets, fives, minutes, valves, etc. etc.)... not as found of the style either)
and the metal ones are alwyas the REALLY expensive ones... id not spent $500+ on Juliets or Romeos
mine tend to cost around the 300$ mark... which im fine with!
On a different note: Have you seen the new ing OKALEY THUMPS click here
OMFG... even sunglass hut wasnt carrying these when i went by there... had to go to this sports/snowboarding store to find a pair...
the new oakleys with memory cards in the arms so u can upload music into them (either come in the 128mb model, or the 256 polarized lenses model). Little headphones drop outta the arms and fit PERFECTLY in ur ear... omg, soooooooo cool!! So hype! the price tag was about 500$ cdn. if i recall correctly when i asked the chick about them... the lenses flip up too... very cool!:eyespop:
CHECK THEM OUT PPL! THIS IS THE NEW GENERATINO OF SUNGLASSES/OAKLEYS!!!!! |
