Thursday, January 6th, Tiësto will perform during a massive outdoor fundraiser in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During this free event, many famous Dutch artists will perform voluntarily for financial aid to the people who suffered from the recent disaster in Asia.
During the event, which will take place on the most famous square of Amsterdam called "De Dam", 400 volunteers will collect money in the crowd. All the collected money including all profits of all TV commercials during the live broadcast of the event will go straight to the organisations collecting relief funds.
Tiësto specially aborted his vacation in North-America because of this event. He felt that this was the least he could do to support the people who need help. |
