Call barring on mobile phones

Does anyone know if you can block numbers from texting you and phoning you on orange phones. I have a girlfriend and this girl is stalking me on the phone, and rather than make a big deal out of it, my girlfriend and i agree that just barring her would be the best solution.
My phone is a nokia 6600 and my operator is orange, any stupid answers will be severly rediculed by myself :) |

| all they can do is give you a new number, you cant bar calls from one specific number |

yep ive been told this before.
What i used to do to stop prank calls is when i recieve one answer but dont speak leave the phone on the side it wastes the callers money they soon get bored of pranking u when they go through there first £10 of calls trust me. |

| you can bar a certain number but you have to ring up and pay for it to be done. i know someone who did this. |

possibly, but I know you cant if you are billed my CPW (which he isnt as he's on Orange)

A friend of mine spent hours on the phone to you guys, also sending numerous letters to try and cancel his contract with you...you just didn't want to let go! ;) |

yeah I'm a bit pissed off
I've sent 3 letters cancelling my contract after the 12 months, yet I still get billed! |

| send em recorded delivery, soon as oyu can prove that they have been signed for at head office, we can get it disconnected right away, even if we cant find the letter :D |

| it's techincally illegal for them to cancel your contract without a written request, I'll see if I can sort you out when I get back to work on monday ;) |

I also got gipped on my last months bill from my other contract, it was twice as much as usual, and I didn't use it as much :conf: |
