Hello out there!

Just want to present you a preversion of

Icewind dale

It is a track for all friends of the winter time. I tried to create an icy and cold atmosphere with the instruments and melodies, to put the listener into a winterly mood.

I just want to overwork this track, make it radio-suitable, so some comments and hints/advices are appreciated. I'll definitely cut the end sequence one half, perhaps excange the bassdrum, but I don't know, how to make the buildup more interesting.

But just have a listen,
Greetings, Ian

Let's see if I can help...

Maybe it's the drums that make this track actually pretty average for now. (sorry) Also the melody is not interesting enough, you might wanna add some more variation. You know on which this melody should fit fine, though?... On DIRTY HARD TRANCE/HOUSE, maybe you should give it a try on such styles with this melody!;)

So either you make the drum programming more interesting, or you make the melody more interesting. It would be an approvement if you give it some "swing" and more percussion!:D

Thanks for your comment. I know, the percussions are the weakest point in my productions all the time, and I also know, what you mean with this old Trance style.

But maybe I have an idea...

I'll see, what I can do...

i think i agree with websley ;)
the song is just too regular right now, missing lots of stuff, and not so interesting :S

Hope, that I've used the weekend well. Completely recreated the track.

Got 3:20 Minutes for now, definitely have to fix some transitions, but would be glad, if you mates can tell me, if I'm on the right way...
