Small Acid Pro 5 problem...

I used to use the original acid many moons ago when producing original work and have only just gone back to it to do some mp3 mixing.
Basically I have done a mix (as you can see in the pic) and I want to render it sepearate tracks. I can do this but every track is the same length as the whole mix which is crap, I want each track to end at a certain point (in this case where the track markers are).
I thought by using the track markers and burning it to cd I could then rip the cd as mp3 but acid doesnt see my writer (nec 2500) so any ideas coz i'm stummped? Any markerss I can use so it will render tracks into mp3's like it would if I burnt it as wav to cd?

Thanks. |

| I usually add the markers in Nero myself. |

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I spose I could render as a single mp3 and slice it up in any number of audio editors. Just a bit of a pain really, even more so when you concider I would then need to label each mp3 with its track name again.
You would of thought that such a advanced piece of software as acid would be able to manage such a trivial task. |

Thanks, although i'm not really looking to master to CD or chop around with a single mp3/wav file. Just really looking if there is a way for acid to render individual tracks which just cover their respective song.
Can the use of regions achieve this ir any other of the markers in acid? Thanks. |

use the loop region.define you area(start-end),solo the track and render'it. |

Yeah, I thought of that one too, and guess if there is no better way I will probably do it like that.
It just seems a less than precise way of going about it, and a little too labour intensive for my liking :D
I find it bizzare that acid well sony doesnt provide a feature like this, its cost a bleeding bomb and I bet a large number of users would find this feature useful.....I mean mixmeister supports it ffs! |
