currently own: $700
currently own + have owned in the past: $4000 (god damn  ) |
Sounds like myself. Ive sold most of my equipment, be it upgrading or just found I wasent using it anymore... |

| About $2500... This year. I've been buying equipment since 1990. I'd say I've spent close to $7000. |

| Derivative |
access virus b (2nd hand) - £400
alesis MEQ 230 (2nd hand) - £50
m-audio delta 1010 (new) - £259
cables - £40
so my hardware setup is looking like about £750 which is about $1,500 USD at current exchange rate. this does not include my software setup which is floops producer edition, linplug albino, reFX vanguard, g-media impOSCar and synapse hydra, superwave pro/trance pro. which is another £400 ($800 USD) all told. i use some of my parent's unused hifi equipment to monitor cuz at the moment im too skint to afford a proper monitoring solution.
approximate total: $2,300 in just over a year's worth of production.
and i dont have very much that is finished to show for it either. which is the demoralizing part. i am getting better though. just not as fast as id like to be able to pay off all this stuff! |

| My studio is very different from the ones posted here apparently, mine consists mostly of instruments, two Fenders (next to the piano my favourite instrument, will never sell those babies), a piano, a synth, gonne get brand new monitors the next couple of weeks, can't decide what to go for (I heared you can get good stuff for about 500$ ?), wasted a piano (don't ask), accoustic guitar, then my PC of course, and then about 2K just for the software. The two pianos alone were an easy 10K I think, but I only bought the first one, the second one everybody from the family pitched in. Still, not a lot of money for the amount of pleasure :) Not including vinyl, decks and my DJ gear. All this over about hmm 14 years, every summer-job money went to instruments. Reminds me of sending out demo CDs next week lol, time to earn a little of that money back :clown: |

| Check my comment out.. Dont know what it is worth in dollars but I sold the Supernova today for something like 600$ so that I can afford a CS-15 analog synthesizer from 1978 ;) |
