you're lucky you control what to put in your jukebox.

we have a jukebox at Fridays, but we are at the whim of whatever the "jukebox people" put in there. its not cds though its all digital. there's a pretty good assortment but as far as EDM all we have is paul oakenfold, robert miles, and junkie xl... but they just put on a Super Search and i found ferry on the supersearch. the only drawback is it costs you 2 plays to use super search.

be thankful you can put whatever you want in it. sometimes i have to listen to rednecks putting in $10 worth of country bull. or old business men putting in tons of frank sinatra. not that i'm dissing frank, but that's not exactly motivational work music at 10:00 on a friday night.

I would definitely suggest Sander's Renaissance CDs
Global Underground CDs like Sasha and Deep Dish
Tiesto In Search Of Sunrise (to cover the classics)

i run the bar so its up to me what goes on there...im trying to attract a younger trendier crowd,,and get rid of the older people...i want to be able to play a whole mixed CD at full volume to achieve this...

the problem with mix compilations on a jukebox is that people pay per song. it wont be mixed unless they select every song on the cd in order.

i would .....

Use a stereo (for mixed CDs) and shut off the jukebox after 9 when the younger crowd comes in. leave the regular stuff on the jukebox and add in some edm albums (not mixed comps) like orbital, etc. the older regulars can listen to what they want until 9. you dont want to lose the older regulars. they put money in the bar's pockets from 6-9.
