Technikal's new tracks is pure quality. He's changed his sound a bit, and the one's I've charted is extremely uplifting. |

How are playing a DJ set and posting a random list on a website the same thing, exactly? |
Fair enough...
Here's John Askew's last top 10 update from his website.
29.11.04
1. Michael Splint "Secrets" (Askew re-edit)
2. Marco Bailey "Unknown" (White)
3. Thomas Datt "Alone" (Discover)
4. Tranquility Base "Surrender" (John Askew remix)
5. Arc in the Sky "Kissed" (Discover Dark)
6. Cult 45. "Curlie Gets Muddy" (White)
7. Mike Koglin "The Silence 2005" (Noys)
8. John O'Callaghan & Bryan Kerney "Restricted Motion" (John Askew Remix) (Discover)
9. Kyau vs Albert "Falling Anywhere" (Re-edit) (Euphonic)
10. Leama & Moor "Fact of the Matter" (Lost Language)
By your analogy, he would be egotistical too?
My point is, all DJ's promote their current and upcoming productions in their top 10 and their radio shows. I don't see anything wrong in that. |

That's just something I've always been pondering about...
I never include my own tracks in my top 10's since I know I wouldn't be able to judge them objectively... one always tends to think his productions are better than others' since they mean more to him.
Anyway, carry on with the actual thread. |

| Getting back to the thread, P.H.A.T.T'S list is above average. Nothing really groundbreaking but a decent list. |

Well, it depends what you mean by "top 10", whether it is your 10 favourite tracks at the moment or which 10 tracks that you've been playing the most lately. Of course, the "objective judgement"-part is completely disregarded by most, since they'll take whatever opportunity they have to promote their own material. For instance, it's very handy that your tune of the year is Marcos - Cosmic String when your name is Paul van Dyk, it was released on Vandit and Judge Jules asks you what your tune of the year is on his show on Radio 1. |
