Next September, I'll begin a bacc in computing security at U Laval (Québec). It's one of the first of its kind over here (qc province).

And if I'm good enough, which I'm not really afraid of, I'll have the opportunity to work 1 year anywhere in Quebec province and study 1 year oversea. Both years will be credited. Sounds cool.

I'm very happy to realize that all my efforts invested in learning computer security stuff will finally be rewarded. Hackers (neutral term) now have a chance to get out of dark and get a diploma. It's not always easy to be a "freelancer" without a diploma even when you have a lot of expertise.

before, that type of program was only available at master degree or via a AEC 1-year intensive program in private schools (which cost a lot and doesnt even worth a CEGEP)

Finished my Bac in computer science last year from Concordia. Been working in IT since then and I'm bored out of my skull :(

I'm thinking about becoming a military pilot. All you need is a degree, 20/20 vision, and be healthy. Interesting job and pays well too :D

Are you working for yourself or a company ? Small one or some blue chip in IT field ?

I work for an mid-sized IT company based here in Montreal. We make security software for ISP's and I basically make sure everything is ok on their end.

Canada has one fighter plane called the CF-18. It's basically identical to the American F-18 Hornet. Besides that, you can fly helicopters or cargo planes for search and rescue, transport, etc. It would be cool do something where you help people; Tsunami relief is an example.
