| The thread "Medical BS" I started, I deleted because of the filthly language and images being posted on the thread. It't pathetic how a select few members of TA don't hold themselves to a higher standard, and ruin it for others. |

Well, there is certainly no excuse for being personally offensive to someone when you haven't been provoked. Otherwise swear words have become a part of the modern lexicon... and when you think about it the whole concept of having rude words is silly... they are not phoetically offensive, their meaning isn't offensive per se, they are only offensive because you choosefind them offensive. So it is you who gives them offensive meaning.
As for the images.. they're sort of smokeapes MO or calling card if you will. Other than that you will find a lot of people posting images of scantily clad women on this forum (or any other forum for that matter). |

I believe that using profanity shows that a person has a very small vocabulary (and probably low intelligence too), and when they want to say something, they throw in "empty words" not even worth hearing. If they tried, their communication skills could be better.
This whole issue is pretty petty in itself.....
:p |

| I find profanity is just another useful language mechanism. Especially when I'm aggrieved to that someones talking . |

Or its useful when the person you are talking to knows no better, and the only way to get them to comprehend anything you say is to add some profanity to your message.....lol.
Some of the morons I go to high school with are like that. Every other word out of there mouth is some version of profanity. In general, in moderation, I don't really care that much, but there is a point to where it gets ridiculous. It's also interesting how they arethe ones to drop out of high school, only to later on smoke pot to escape the reality that they screwed up by not getting an education.
I hate high school, I can't wait until graduation in june to get out of there and into pharmacy school. |

| Meh, get what you need out of school and leave te rest for the chumps. Other than that, make sure you never let school get in the way of your education (was it Mark Twain?).. |

So people who say , , ****, cock, damn, ass, , god damn, suck my dick, blow me, stick it up your ass, Jesus ing Christ, , and many other great ones are destined to become dropouts.
LOL, wait til you get to college and your silly presumptions are thrown out the window. ;) :D |

| profanity is a good thing. i like to think of it as a "language enhancer". sure you can say "no way!" but when you say "no ING way" it really puts one's point across. |
