The Rome derby providing plenty of controversy again.

Paolo Di Canio went absolutely mental on Thursday night after he scored for Lazio in their win against bitter rivals Roma. He was Man of the Match as ten yellow cards were given out. Now he's under investigation for inciting violence by giving a fascist salute to fans at the end of the game. He has actually had the cheek to come out and say that there was nothing political behind it!

One of many fireworks thrown onto the pitch nearly went off in Totti's face.

What a goon

Its about the only thing the Lazio fans will be celebrating this year, I hope the team gets relegated!

[i][b]As one charitable observer - the Telecommunications Minister, and Roma supporter, Maurizio Gasparri - put it, Di Canio's excitement clearly got the better of him.

"Poor lad," said the minister. "Like all Lazio supporters, he is just not used to winning."

:p

From the BBC...

Yeah I hope Lazio is happy but if they could they would sell the 3pts to Roma just to get out of debt. LOSERS!:whip:
