External Enclosures for Hardrives any good?

I need some extra storage space for mp3s, but I'm worried 160 or even a 80 gb HD will burn out because there's no cooling fans in the enclosures.
Anyone know anything about this? |

Well, hard drives don't normally come with fans already attached to them and that means they probably will not burn out. Mine has no fan and i've had it for over 3 years now. So you wont need a fan on it. Also if you want, you can shut the hard drive off when you're not using it and it will keep your data since its external.
Do a mod, put some fans on it :p |

| you can buy aluminium enclosures, with like, mega ventilation, perhaps that would help? :) |
