:oHear me out mods: I'm aware that this is possibly not where I should be posting this, but...
I've got until midnight tonight to hand someone 80 gigs on blazing fast servers -- but once midnight hits on the 15th, it's gone. Need hosting? Have that fierce track ready but can't foot the bill and/or ya don't feel like dealing with the various Geocities out there? ;)
E-mail me an original production or remix (read: no live/mixed sets) of yours by midnight tonight, and I'll see what can be done. Depending on how many people get a chance to read this and follow up on it, I'll be more than happy to split it amongst the worthiest submissions. I realize it's hard to push 80 gigs in five days on such short notice...just makes more sense to do like the epic classic does, and spread love! :D
Why midnight tonight you ask? Why only five days? A business associate of mine relinquished control over her server to me this morning, but her contract doesn't end until the 16th. It's the first time I've had hosting that I couldn't easily max out! :P
Interested? Give it to [email protected], or use the free, browser-based service yousendit.com, if you can't send large e-mail attachments. As long as the attachment(s) in a single e-mail don't tally up to be greater than 50mB, than it'll be fine on my end. Have ten killer tracks? Send all you can -- I can't honestly see myself stumbling into this kind of high-capacity, zero-cost hosting again in my immediate future. :stongue:
