When I think buffet and good food, I think of Sidhartha - 1450 Gerrard East, at Craven Road...
My other recommendation for East Indian buffet is Sangam... |
I've heard many good things about those restaurants but have not had the chance to try. I'm up for anything really as long as it's easily accessible via ttc. |

Buffet sounds good.
Hot House Cafe, anyone? Pretty good Italian (better than Frankie's) and it's downtown... |

One of my two favourite East Indian restaurants in Toronto, though it is a bit out of the way in the East-end.
My other recommendation for East Indian buffet is Sangam - 788 Bay Street (Bay & College), 416-591-7090. I used to live next door to these guys and would eat here often every night of the week. Stellar. I hadn't been in a year or two and they did some remodelling, looks great. After making comments to that effect, when the bill came, they gave me my 3 Cheetah lagers gratis. Very classy! |
sounds good i'm in |

Korean BBQ is good though, but it's always packed. |

I would seriously put my mother's honour on the line to say that either Sidhartha or Sangam have exceptional dinner buffets and well noit disappoint even the most discriminating of East Indian connoisseurs.
Cheap, downtown, and accomodates lots of different groups... IE., those arriving in staggered groups. |
