I really liked New Horizon, so I was eager to hear MIKE's new production under this alias.
The first third is as good as New Horizon, if not better.
In the second third, an awkward lead comes in, that doesn't fit well in my opinion.
Just as you get used to the second third, and think "actually, this isn't so bad", the lead morphs into this horrible melodic monstrosity backs by pads. This last section unfortunately ruins the track for me.
The "ReRiff Mix" follows roughly the same pattern, but with a much less obvious end segment, making it actually rather playable. But I don't feel it saves the whole release.
Both productions under Absolute show that MIKE can make some wicked spacey progressive trance, but I wish he had stopped short of turning this one into an epic number. |

| don't know about the 're-riff mix' but the original as featured on ASOT is repetitive and boring |

i find this one pretty strange
sounds pretty dark at first, with that weird "psycho" lead, then when it goes into break, it sounds almost like ATRC but with that evil psycho synth still playing :wtf: |

| I think daydream is actually very good. :) Its very dark and different somehow. But I like it though.. |

| I like the dark start of this tune; but this in' voy-melody ruins the track. Cmon MIKE keep the darkness in the whole track next time. |

| I really wasn't too keen when I heard it.... But it's one of those tracks that there's 'something' about that I do kind of like, even though I don't know what it is! It's definitely that lead... Doesn't really fit at all but I do quite like it for some reason. Very confused feeling's on this one; I think it's pretty different for M.I.K.E. to be honest, still nice and dark-ish trance though! :D |

The orignal mix has it's own beuty to it, but it does feel a little repetative after a while, as NoisyNeil said.
The Re-Riff Mix is much more my taste. It's a little darker and has a different approach and build up. The Re-Riff Mix is the one I play when I DJ. |

I absolutely love both these tracks. I too thought that the main lead sounded a little odd when I first heard it but after repeated listens it totally makes sense.
What I love most about these tracks though is that eerie/spooky vibe that they have, something only producers like M.I.K.E. are capable of doing so well. No doubt many heads will be messed with when this is played out.
As for the synth at the end of the original mix, when I first heard it it reminded me of a similar sounding synth in Pink Floyd's "Welcome To The Machine", and that's definitely a good thing.
Both mixes 9/10. |

Amazing track!
I like this track because it`s something different and it has this unique sound. It`s really refreshing to hear stuff like this. For me this is even better than New Horizon. One of the best tracks that M.I.K.E. has done lately. It isn`t your everyday trance.
