| Tonight I've witnessed an amazing football match, where the team who're running away with the title in Spain got their asses handed to them by Villarreal, who imo deserve a mention for having 14 clean sheets in 15 home games, and played great, with Riquelme in magical form :D Amazing 90 minutes viewing :D |

| Yeah Ian, I watched the game last night as well, bloody superb!! Riquelme was sublime and Forlan is doing very well for them, Barcelona were not at the races at all, Ronaaldinho and Eto'o had poor games, that isnt said very often. |

| Riquelme is an outstanding player. Every time I watch Villareal he impresses me. I can't believe Barcelona can't find room for him in their team, alongside Xavi they would be a pretty lethal midfield duo! |

I agree, He was the difference between celtic and villareal in the uefa cup last year. An outstanding player in a very tidy little team. |

So was Riquelme sold or is he still on loan? I am thinking once Saviola and Riquelme get back, Barca is going to look pretty invincible.
