How are your speakers?

| ok, my speakers are pretty good for listening to music, but my sound card sucks (i think the problem is my sound card). after having my laptop stolen, i have had to revert back to my desktop from college (P3-600 MHZ running win98se, with a SB Live! sound card of some sort). so my sound car sucks because my speakers pretty much only recieve only the left or the right speaker input (i'm not sure which, but its definitely only one or the other). but if i mess with the cord going into my speakers (boston acoustic model - two speakers plus subwoffer; semi nice set up) i get the same channel to pump through both speakers. not very good, cause there are some songs where it sounds totally weird. but, i just wanted to know who had some kick ass speakers, and who has ones that are alright (like mine, minus my faulty sound card). |

For my computer, I use these:
Very, very decent speakers. I'm totally satisfied with them, as I *am* at ground zero when I decide to turn them up all the way (sitting at the computer desk). :happy2:
However, I just finished installing a surround system in my house today:

I've also got two exterior speakers out on the patio hooked into this system, so when I'm in the swimming pool or the hot tub...or the trampoline (:D) I can blast music as loud as I want to. My neighbors on one said are an entire field away, and on the other side is a tomato farm. So during the day, I can listen to music pretty much as loud as I want to. :D

| you bastard.....i live in an apt. in a huge complex.....so i try to keep my left channel or my right channel in check (which ever pumps into my speakers) i can't wait to get a house so i can get a superb system and blare it. :) |
