people need to take a time-out. The flaming just seems to be getting worse.
if AvB, PvD or tiesto get mentioned there is flaming
if another genre is mentioned there is flaming
makes me chuckle |

maybe its cose that nearly every thread created is about these djs these mp3 downloading whores that like trance think these 3 djs r the only djs worth seeing and there the best.
These people have hardly ever been to a proper club they need to get out more and listen to some proper none money grabbing djs that do it cose they love the music instead of downloading a tiesto set then posting a thread along the lines of
'oh my tiesto is god'
thats why theres so much flaming going on.
I dont really agree with u about the part of flaming over genres i dont really see that happening much. |

If I was an american I wouldn't be happy. |

its probably because of the dedicated opinions of TAs
like some new TA comes along, didnt like what tiesto did on his remix of sunrise or something etc
that has just dissed half of TA etc, they see it and flame the bitch to ashes |

in general, most tas arent very good at flaming
quite often I have ripped tiesto & armin to bits and no **** says anything |

too many peopel focus on the big 3 and omgz0ring any piece of e that comes along as logn as it has a big name attachement alogn the line.
its a shame really, MD used to be all about good trance music and the onyl thing that spoiled it was a slight over infatuation of paul van dyk from many of the american contingent. |

| Unfortunately there is an excess of n00bs in Music Discussion who feel that only they can have an opinion and that's it. If they disagree with something you say, you've got yet another flame war on your hands. That said, I really don't know what I'm talking about because I rarely post in that forum. :gsmile: |

i posted a simple post about how trance change in 2005 and i had 20,00000000 replies from americans saying i was wrong trance is dead, there was never a genre as trance, it was prog in disguise etc. and i thouhgt well im a n00b i gotta expect a bit of flaming but everytime i post summat along the lines of everyone has thereown opinion i get 20,00000000 replies form the same yank crowd saying your wrong etc. etc.
id dont even wanna think how much server space has been wasted by people replying to posts, saying your and idiot your a cock. |

there do seem quite alot of US flamers but i guess they make up a large proportion of the forum.
Rarely seem to be UK or Ozzie flamers.
Its just ive been away a few months and came back and it MD seemed very different, i'm probably getting old :( |

i do feel sorry for many fellow TA's, they just dont have the same access to EDM as here in the UK.
I remember a post from a yank who asked "which dj's have you seen live? and that doesnt count listening to a live stream or live set mp3"
some people (particualrly British) to that posted 100s or djs they have seen which frankly many of the US TA's didnt believe it was possible to have seen all these djs |
