PACHA : Fathers of House @ Pacha London, London
On January 15th Pacha London plays host to Fathers of House, a series of events celebrating House music’s hero’s from past and present from around the world.
This month sees Chicago’s Marshall Jefferson takes to the decks to deliver a slice of uplifting house. Famed as the creator of one of House’s seminal tracks ‘Move your body’ and the production wizard that took acid house out of the basement and onto the dance floors, Marshall’s achievements are second to none.
With the onset of the European House scene Marshall soon found a new home in the UK, where he still resides.
His body of production spans over a decade with accreditations worldwide while his DJ sets always move the crowd. Still producing underground music and keeping a presence on the DJ circuit Marshall’s true genius is his versatility, crossing genres effortlessly and with a panache and flair that translates to dancefloors around the world.
This is will be the first time Marshall has played Pacha London so if you are not familiar with the legend then come down and check him out.
In the Funky room Immaculate Touch celebrate their fourth birthday with all of their residents and regulars coming together for this special occasion and Radio 1’s Timmi Magic adding to the evenings proceedings with dancers and live percussion!
