i saw this happening and im glad.
2005 will be the year of breakbeat, big time.
and february will be off the hook, lee coombs, stanton warriors, atomic hooligan (sp?) AND somebody else ;)
stantons and atomic are playing on the same night but at 2 different locations and that kinda sucks cause there is not so many followers and my guess is that one gig will be more than half empty.
like true soldier somehow i'll hit both gigs, never saw stantons live and im kinda itchin' about getting nasty to their sick beats, and hooligan is sick mofo, saw him once, and have been waiting for some time npw to hear him again.

On a side note - RE: kickin' BREAKS!!!
FYI - At roxy Blu this weekend Fri Jan7th( I think it was ) Big League Chu was Stirin' up some serious breaks with GrooveKat management (joanna) so nice to see you Nancy, Marilyn and Joanna!

also there is a wikkid party happenenin' on Jan 29th for the Tsaumi devestation and all proceeds will go to them! thru red cross - check it out at the Elmacombo! I will also post on Event's calander - just wanted to add a comment about BREAKS - hence thread name!

I go there for some great beats on Sundays... but can Hush hold enough people to make enough $$$$ ??
It's going to be a sick party, rammed to the I hope since the breaks scene has been a little shy on attendance as of late. |
