I love this show so much, even though it's corp sponsered marketing crapp ... the they do and the amount of effort they do to rebuild those homes for those ppl ... it's the best in the planet.
Everytime they present the new house to them, I swear to god I cry.
I love ppl like this, helping ppl out when times are ruff and give them a helping hand. |

my roomie and i love it too! she records it for me to watch when i get home from work!

Me too! I was watching it last night. It was about this family whose mother passed away, and the father was left to raise all 8 children.
I got a tear in my eye at how sweet the dad was. The family really deserved the makeover! :) |

Watch the one on right now ... some family who lives in the woods, their house got burned down, b/c of a fire and their daughters have been showering with cold water for 9 months. |

That's what makes the show really great! The main cast gets right in there and helps build too, they don't just look pretty for the cameras. There's no way anyone could watch this show and not be touched. |

I've become addicted to Holmes on Homes on HGTV.
These kind of feel good shows are what's best out of the "reality" tv genre since they aren't gameshows, but about good people doing good things. |
