there was some red at the eges but it weas mostly just whitish/pale green it was whipping all around DAMN!

apparently the sun is at the peak of its cycle ofr "solar weather". in other words about every 11 years its amount of solar flares and stuff like that reach a violent peak,....what i show.....cheack it out if u can!

Would be really nice to see them!

is it this? because if it is, i've seen it a couple years ago. Didn't really appreciate it back then though.

yeah, that's it. Would love to see it with my own eyes. but here in Holland we hardly can't see it, sometimes way op north, but never that clearly. Two years ago we went Hungary to see the sun eclipse. That was beautiful (and strange!) too: we went to a festival, the Eclipse-festival and watched the eclipse with thousands of party-minded people. I'll never forget that!
Gekhous
damn id like to see that with my own eyes, just the pics r ing amazing

and the eclipse we had in Holland last year was kinda ty Eye-Riz, everything turned a bit yellow and the colors went back to normal again...

I know, I heard about it. In Hungary we had some rain and clouds in the morning. So we hoped the clouds would dissappear, but they didn't until a quarter of an hour before the total eclipse (it already stopped raining long before that)
It was amazing: the diamant ring was fabulous, the sky went dark, but not like it was night... it was a bit spooky. All the animals (birds, dogs) went quiet, there was a strange smell in the air... was really something all together. When the sun came back everybody (all those people) applauded! So if you ever have the chance to see such a wonder of nature, go for it!
