Indeed, must've mixed that one up with another track.. it had a "sonic" in the track name. Not sure though :tongue2

lol you like space monkey? I think it's a lot better here and listening to just trance than psy. Psy artists to me sort of just ran out of ideas imho, i was hardcore psy before. If you are the full-on psy lover then you would probably like hard-trance. As for darker stuff, hmm digweed?

Not a big fan of Space monkey, a mad cover though :)
Yeah, not many good psy releases the past years but 2004 have had some great ones (e.g by goa "legends" like Electric universe and Space Cat). Looks promising.. more melodic and old-school-(goa) seems to slowly come back

You should most definitely listen to Beatseekers- Reflexion esp. the JOOF remix. One of the best trance/psy hybrids that I've heard. Also on JOOF. Check it out.

Forthcoming on JOOF is a remake an L.S.G track called Netherworld which has remixes by Oliver Prime and Oliver Lieb. :) That is also worth checking out.
Lephaid
System Nipel Vs. Electro Sun - We Can Fly
Aquatica - Universe City
Vibe Tribe - Melodrama (the whole album)

I would agree with Ste when he says that the JOOF label is probably a good bet for the kinda sound you are looking for as its not too trance sounding with hands in the air moments and will probably be a lot more on the kinda sound you are looking for.....

Its a good start anyway....

The new JOOF tracks coming out this year should really be down your street as John OO Fleming is really going in for the big psy trance sound.

I managed to catch up with John in Scotland just before Xmas and he really is going for it when it comes to deeper side of dance music. See if you can get hold of one of his recent sets and then just check out the tracklisting....

Cheers

What kind of stupid question is this anyway? Does anyone know any choclolate ice cream and "regular" ice cream hybrids? Uplifting? Infected Mushroom uplifts me quite a bit.

And why are people listing a bunch of GOA trance?
dj tek
J00F - Free[John's Twisted dub]
AlphaStarred
Li Kwan - Point Zero 2004 (The Digital Blonde rmx)
Astrix vs. Dj Highguy - Chaos
Dickster - Dizzy Drops

now let's not get into the "prog-psy" genre otherwise you'd have to dig up my first thread on it and i'd have to list a load of artists/productions :p

Psytrance should be illegal, I can't believe it cuz it's just worthless crap.
