Their marketing is fine, their products suck, thusly they go NO WHERE. It could have 100 hours of playback and be the size of a quarter, and id give a less. Sony hasnt grasped the idea of making a good DAP yet, like it or not. Though they sure are trying hard.
Get off your ing highhorse also, your too insecure with yourself to use a goddamn ipod, its sad. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE GUY! |

| I will agree that they are overpriced, and could use more features. But many many music enthusiasts swear by their ipod, even after trying other mp3 players. The click wheel is really nice, the interface is nice, the file system is nice, and its all very cleanly done. I personally dont use an Ipod, or a mac for that reason, but Im not ignorant like some of you guys who just dismiss it because its Apple branded, or because a lot of people use it as a status symbol. Archos is my weapon of choice, because of the drag and drop and the search by filename file browsing, something the ipod doesnt use. |

I HAVE AN IPOD AND ITS BATTERY AND EQ IS .
And you dont make a very good arguement as to why Sony portables suck. My Sony Minidissc may not have great capacity, but it will TROUNCE anything in every other feature (sound, recording, downloading, live recording, battery life = 100+ hours, etc etc)
Do your research, and stop being a ing SHEEP. You just cant admit your ass got pwned along with your pathetic comments with a Sony product. |

Uh, the Software SUCKS. I returned my minidisc because i couldn't get the stupid software to work correctly. NOTHING would work, the stupid program would keep crashing etc. |

^that i will agree with, but there are alternatives.
but, you dont need to convert to atrac before you send it to the HD3, its got complete MP3 support, so that other guys complaint is completely invalid. That being said, iPods also use software in order to transfer music onto it. I dont know how it runs on PC, but iTunes however does a great job on Mac. (y) |
