On Saturday, February 26th, 2005 we invite you to join us as we launch a new monthly progressive trance & techno event. Every fourth Saturday of the month, UNITY will take you into a journey of sound with Toronto's best new DJ's and producers. This city is bursting at its seams with talent, and it is our mission to bring you the cream of the crop. We're always on the hunt for new DJ's that want to showcase their talent.
Let us all UNITE, and become one FAMILY representing the one thing that matters most: MUSIC.
-------------- DJ's ------------
DJ EKLIPSE- Synthetix, VIT Radio, Unity, http://www.eklipseandhigoa.com
This DJ is about to take Toronto by storm. Gaining notable influence from giants such as Orbital, Jean-Michel Jarre, The Chemical Brothers and Armin Van Buuren, he has crafted his sound perfectly. Eklipse is definitely not a newcomer to Toronto's scene. He's held residencies at clubs such as System Soundbar, Comfort Zone, and most recently Pulse Nightclub. Their monthly mix series "Voyage Into Trance" and internet radio show "VIT Radio" are a hit on the global online community... and there is lots more to come. UNITY is proud to present to you the cutting edge sounds of DJ EKLIPSE. He's Toronto's rising star, and definitely not to be missed!
DJ DECIBEL - http://www.funkadelicvibe.com, Unity
In a time where there is an abundance of competition for DJ's everywhere, Decibel is a unique talent that is emerging above the rest. His flawless mixing and track selection has already rocked crowds all over Toronto's scene. Having founded Funkadelic Industries, and holding parties with headlining talent such as Frankie Bones, DJ Venom and more, his scope of the dance scene grows beyond just being behind the decks. This DJ is definitely someone to be looking out for in the near future. He delivers a tight, thumpin' set every time.
DJ TARGET - http://www.Xanuradio.com, Timeless productions
Working through dynamic track selections and seamless transitions, DJ Target transforms vinyl into a progressive journey. Not willing to limit himself to one style, DJ Target takes his cue from the crowd. Whether it's hypnotic
tribal, sleazy house, or trance, the dance floor is pumping.
SHANE TIGHE - http://www.Di.fm, Serenity
This versatile DJ has many styles under his belt, with trance and breaks being his specialty. His talent also extends beyond the decks as a producer. His first track "The Truth" is now set for release at the end of January on www.releaserecords.com. Shane's mixes and original work can be heard on Digitally Imported in their regular rotation.
CRAIG PENFOLD - VIT Radio, Unity
Toronto's scene is about to find out the talent this DJ has... and it's about time! Craig's flawless mixing and picture perfect track selection will take the dance floor on a journey through the sounds of progression. With his ability to make dirty bass lines mesh perfectly with hypnotic melodies, he will surely put everyone in a trance. Don't say we didn't warn you.
FREELANDER
With an arsenal of music at his side, and passion guiding him, Freelander is a new DJ on Toronto's circuit that will surely satisfy. His unique blend of techno and progressive trance will shake any dance floor he graces. You don't want to miss the sounds of Freelander.

no need to knock up on them Graham .. EKLIPSE & HIGOA are juss 2 quality DJs doing their part in trying to help make the scene in TO better. i received an email not too long ago from Greg Eklipse who asked for some help with suggestions as to what they could do to help make their night a success. i also support their night and wish them all the best with it.
i'm juss happy to help them in any way i can and i don't think they intentionally chose this name for their event just because it was used on a prior event. juss pure co-incidence it seems..
not only that but the context in which the word "Unity" was being used in both events are totally different ..
ie. 1P used it as a spoof off of the Rick James skit.. E&H are using it in the more literal sense
on another side note:
- "Unity" used to be the name of a now defunct rave promoter
- "Interference Productions" is less than a hardly original name
- "TA Invasion" is a variation of another promoter's "Invasion" nights used in the past
- "Support Those Who Support You" is a tagline which was often used back in the 90's by rave promoters like Syrous
but if u ever asked i'd never take credit for ever inventing any of these terms.. John & I just set out to hav fun in what we do in hopes that everyone else has fun along with us
so yeah appearances can sometimes be deceiving ;)

| I've heard Eklipse & Higoa spin. They spinned such an amazing set. I checked their website and downloaded some pretty sweet tracks and sets. I've only been to Pulse a few times and I found the club had a great feel. The crowd is pretty cool too. There's no abundance of juicers or plastic hoes like the guv. Yeah.. and the sound and visuals was impressive too. Man. I sound like a promoter. I'm not. It's just I haven't been impressed much lately and I see great potential in these guys. :gsmile: |

If you are in any way trying to compare THE GUVERNMENT and PULSE and trying to make PULSE sound better in any way shape or form then you are simply on cheap crack:rolleyes: :whip: :tongue3 |
