| Atletico Madrid just got a verdict on how much they will be fined for the racist behavior of their fans at the madrid derby last week. After announcing over a loud speaker at the ground for the fans to curb their racist behavior which only worsened the situation and reading the referees match report the UEFA committee came to the conclusion that atletico madrid need to fork out a whopping 420 pounds:eek: ... gee whiz now theyl definately have to sell torres to make up for that huge dent the fine will put in their wallets ... for s sake individual players get fined a lot more than that for much less offences. How the do they expect to tackle racism by fining clubs amounts which they earn from like selling 10 tickets.:mad: |

according to his post, the UEFA committee fined the club and not the Spanish Football Association...yes the amount is ridiculus...but why blame the spaniards?

| They should punish teams by making them play behind closed doors. This way it punishes the fans by not letting them see the game and the club by lack of money through gate receipts |
