| does anyone know any info about it this year. Is anyone from here going cause im thinking of flying in fromt the states to come this year cause i gotta exp it at least once in my lifetime. |

| as far as i know, the love parade solved the problems and it will take place in 2005! |

the reason why it didn't happen officially last year was because the love parade is usually funded by the city of Berlin.. the locals got tired of the mess it makes and the cleaning operation being funded by the city, it was cancelled. There was a smaller version thought which took place, and which i went to, which was Love demonstration(protesting the fact the love parade had been cancelled...) wasnt really a demonstartion but a small love parade (30000 people as oppossed to 500000).
This year the love parade found a sponsor, Samsung, to fund the whole thing so it shoudl kick ass!!! :disbelief |

Holy Sh!t.. that's some funding! Should be brilliant. I was too young when i lived in germany to go and experience it. But i've always wanted to go. (as have so many people! :))

Wouldn't Berlin want a large and well known event to happen? I'm assuming it brings in a load of money to the city economy. |
