Im not shure if this is the rigth place to post this ,but it makes a lot more sense than posting it in the Gaming forum, so if i am in the wrong place just move the thread. Dont flame me(honest mistake)

| This is probably a stupid suggestion, but have you tried control panel -> add/remove programs? |

The best spyware solution/prevention I've found so far is this:
Put HijackThis on a disk, do a clean format, put HijackThis on your computer, run it, and write down everything on there. Every couple of days run HijackThis and remove anything new that comes up on the log. This will solve 99% of spyware issues.
I use IE with loose security settings and unupdated windows ME while browsing shady warez sites and the like and I've had no problems removing any spyware I've picked up with a couple of clicks.
If you insist upon automated spyware detection and removal, I find that a combination of Ad-Aware and Spy Sweeper works best. |

| Here's another suggestion... once you've uninstalled the spyware, try using a different browser other than IE, use FireFox :) |
