Colin Powell was just doing his job, people should stop bashing that guy. Out of that whole entire administration I actually like him and I have qite a bit of respect for the guy. (just my 2 cents)
And for the next Bush "excuse" comment - watch the daily show hehehe :p that guy is really good |

they won't sidestep it...the Bush administration has become some brazen and arrogant that they'll find a PC way of saying "we don't care".
All they'll do is say that Hussain was an "evil dictator" who needed to be removed from power.
They denied that WMD would not be found...they tried to play down prisoner abuse...they continue to hold thousands of people illegally under the guise of them being "enemy combatants".
what a mess.
Imagine the potential transfomation of an entire continent if the U.S. spent a fraction of the money they did on Iraq to help control the AIDS and malaria epidemics and civil unrest in Africa. |

Oh I know that Powel was just doing his job & now he must feel bad about it.I think he was the only one in that WHOLE administration that had any credibility...And yes the WMDs wasn't the only reason that they gave to invade Iraq BUT they sure put on a show at the U.N. Security Council to try & sell the idea. |
