Does anyone know what the tube lights (led?) are called that you see mounted on the tops of DJM-500/600 mixers to illuminate the controls?
Better yet, anyone know who makes them, or where to get one?
Thanks! |

No, a gooseneck lamp is, as name implies, flexible. Many of these lights exist. The particular light I have seen on several occasions is more like a neon tube, and is fixed (mounted or clipped) to the top (back) of the mixer, near the inputs.
Not white light, but usually led's like blue or red.
There are many of these led tubes around for computer mods and car installations, but the ones I saw had been mounted to the DJM mixer in some way...
Still no luck finding one! |

It's like this, but this is a 19" rack-mount version. There's a smaller, 10 or 12-inch version that aligns with the holes on DJM's

Yeah that pic is of teh BIGGER one. There is a samll, 12" version as seen here. I guess it's just a pc case mod... called a "cold-cathode"
(also includes mounting strips, but no AC power supply):
