Wicked article. I myself hardly attach gender to what makes me who I am. In fact, in many ways I'm more stereotypically like a male than a female. I do what I do because it feels natural, not because I should be fulfilling some societal role. that noise.

I've always thought Bill Mahr's (spelling?, the host of Politically Incorrect) rant on the feminization of the West to be brilliant. (fear of retaliation leads to automatic male appeasement, hah) I'd love to find that somewhere.
