At the corner of McCowan and Sheppard there's a Dr. Bernstein Weight Loss Centre.

AND IT'S RIGHT NEXT TO A QUIZNOS !!!

That must really suck for both companies. They're not going to get any clients from the business next door, and the people next door aren't going to eat those tasty subs!

That place literally starves you to death (well not to death but almost) and that how you lose weight...REALLY REALLY HARDCORE DRASTIC measures :nervous:

there's one location in thornhill, right by Promenade mall, and it's right by M&M meat shops, and a whole bunch of restaurants.

oh for sure...but Dr. Bernstein diet has nothing to do with being healthy it has to do with weight loss through starvation - literally. "Medically supervised weight loss" as they call it lol.

But I'm pretty sure there's nothing on the Quiznos menu that anyone on that diet program could eat... it's all greens (no dressing - maybe on the side?) and chicken with no sauce or anything. Steamed veggies. Ask Tatgirl... she suffered for a while on that diet. On our trip to NY last year. No take out when you do that diet!

And they make sure you exercise, too, I think they stick you on a treadmill.

Oh really? crazy stuff...yeah I knew someone who was on it and she lost a lotta weight but she went through hell...she told me that it's pure starvation and basically you are getting only enough to live lol... (I think she exagerated a bit but that's the basic point anyhow...) I could have never done something like that it's oo crazy and drastic for me :)

Quiznos uses real meats and cheeses so there is no processed junk. Most of the subs are pretty diet friendly and there are a bunch of low fat subs (under 7 grams of fat) like Sierra Turkey, Tuna, Honey Mustard Ham & Swiss. As far as "fast food" goes it's probably in the top 3 of healthy choices. Of course nothing will ever replace eating at home but even the nutritionist who has an office next door eats our subs every couple of days.
