Raves in Nice??

Hi, I've never posted in the French section on ta before. My family just bought an apartment in Nice, France (Btw, France is a beautiful place.) and I was wondering if there are any raves in Nice? I'm going to go to Nice mostly during the summer or whenever I get a chance.
Btw, I remember last year (2004) during summer there was this outdoor rave in Nice which they were playing mostly Jungle Music.

If you mean free parties, probably there're some of them. :rolleyes:
In France free parties are most of the time hardcore or even worst, with people drugged and dogs. :rolleyes:
But if you mean rave parties like those in the Netherlands, there is no event of this kind.
In Nice i suppose there is probably good clubs, playing good quality house music (not all of them ;)), but that's all.
And i've never been to Nice, so i couldn't tell you exactly what you mean with "this outdoor rave in Nice".
What was its name ? Where did it happen exactly (in the middle-town ? :conf: ) |

| Imo u should go to Lyon (300 Km) to have some good trance parties (look at the others thread on this board), but you can find some good nightclub in the french riviera but it's pretty often only house/tekhouse... |

To answer maxxyme, It was kind of near the beach where all the stores were and right in the middle of this big circle where all these buildings are. I had no clue that was going on. I was just walking to go to a restaurant and I hear this loud Techno music playing. I thought some guy was just bumping it in his car. So I followed where the music was coming from, and I see this huge crowd with the dj right in the middle of the whole thing. It was all ages, you didn't even have to buy a ticket, it was outdoor, you'd just walk in and dance. It lasted until late night. |
