i am broken man.
i just wanted to say SUP but since im here ill post my rewiev anyhow.
got there around 11:30 tired like hell,i had first day nap in the last 10 years so i knew something was wrong i was even thinking to stay home but.....
anyways i was still tired around 2ish(i have spent all the time just sitting around) and thinking " it ill just chill for 1-2 more hours and then splitt".
and then i got up to see k-swing.
and i didnt sit down till 6 am.
she was good, kinda slow for me but GOOOOOOOOD nontheless and that last tune was a prelude to some serious sickness.

i have never ever danced like last night, ever. freq was NASTY. i mean cmon....
that was some raw right there, 22 thumbs up, way, way up for that guy, so much raw energy in that set it was off the hook.
when he finished i tought that there is no way that d-monic will keep up the tempo.

Okay, right now I'm pretty obsessed with breaks....its got an infectious feel....like you want to bug out and bust it like a madman.
The vibe friday night was very unsketchy and une-tarded, and just overall enthusaistic. Suprising good TA turnout, but hell why wouldn't your support our prog dynamoman Mr. Mossey.
K-Swing. Now this lady deserves a paragraph on its own. She's smoking hot, dj's like a champ, insane toon selection, she's a dancer instructor, she's fit as , from NYC (my fave place), and she's a cool person to talk to. Did I mention she's insanely hot?
Man talking to her made me nervous like a 12 year geek having a conversation with the "cool chick of the class". I think I did ok, but she got offended when I asked her age, but I wasn't macking her anyway. She's in leagues I've never heard of....but I wanna go there one day! Did I mention she rocks as a DJ?! Ya, she def got the house bumpin'.
Freq-Nasty. Off the fkin scale as well! The tunes were bass heavy, which I like to give mad ass props for having the Dynacord rig tweaked...I was in awe to hear the bass so good in that basement! When I heard the Prodigy remixes, I think I broke myself breaking.
Breaks this year should def grow...it can be used in all various types of EDM...and its infectious!:p |

Thanks to all those who came out on Friday.
Aaron Mossey was outstanding! Held it down for 5 hr and didn't hear a single ty track or mixing. Aaron Mossey knows his ! Thanks for allowing all of us hear what you can really do.
K Swing was sweet! Really nice set, it could of been headlining set for sure.
Freq Nasty was retarded! That was the hardest and fastest breaks I've ever heard in my life. No wonder this guy has such a huge following! That Public Enemy remix was slick!
Well I have to make this review short, I'm sick from friday and couldn't make it to work on Sat:(

Great night, although it started quite late for myself and my girlfriends.
Aaron, I'll make a point of being there for your next set since I caught the tale end.
Was able to catch Freq Nasty, and got my fill of jumping up and down like a crazy fool. I dearly look forward to those occasions; they are few and far between.

i like to stay simple and just mention that the night was the groovy and friendly night i've needed in light of the extra hours i've been doing at work.
it was fun to drop by and checkout mike & jenna's place..... you 2 will be on MTV Cribbs soon!!! hahahhhahahaha!!

Aaron Mossey.. now my favourite prog DJ. he's got all the moods and all the tunes in one set ...every time i see him play. keep it up man. excellent talented work.

K-Swing didnt do anything for me, but everything got better when she droped the last track..
Fred was off the hook, loved every minute of his set :)
Kytracid, dude, I didn't know ure one and only Sid :).. Wow, another TA that i acctualy like :).. Fun Fun Fun guy to party with :)..
Nice seeing some of the other TAs that i know (Desidel, Dallas and Neeta).. I just don't know enough of u ppl i guess, I live in the shadow of my popular brother, who u all know and adore :) |
