one of Dave Holmes's aliases...probly ceased producing with it around 2001, after doing a few massive Trance numbers imo..i wish that weren't the case :(
i can still reminisce the sound of his remix of Tomorrow and Millenium...anyone else a fan?

I've got Millenium on vinyl and I wish I had that other track anethesisum (or something like that lol) which I have on a cd, very similar tracks but both great back in the day.

I saw a couple of records not too long ago by Dj Alici or with remixes on by him and they where not up to much tbh, I thought wow these must me worth a listen but that was about as good as it got.

ankesanamun (i think) and it's a hell of a good tune :D

last tune of his I got was his remix of Steve Morley (another of his aliases i think) - Reincarnations in 2001 or 2002

Actually, Dave Holmes is another alias for Mustepha Alici ;)

He's done some great tunes that I like a lot:

Alici - Theme Of Roarr
Alici - Silver Clouds In A Yellow Sky
Nautica - Tomorrow (DJ Alici Remix)

and of course Steve Morley - Reincarnations.

Then there's of course the other half where he does rather cheesy club/trance productions such as Ankhesanamun and Starchild - Redemption (which I like regardless, so much energy :D ).

i'd say ankesenamun was no more cheesy than anything else in 99 :)

mmm..was listening to this again yesterday from my Reactivate 17 compilation.. also his remix of G2000 - Millenium, as featured on Trance Addiction mixed by Ivano Bellini is just as massive..still remember playing those in full volume when i just got em :p

and Reincarnations was also quite nice, indeed...Morley being another of his Trance aliases, gone and almost forgotten :(

The mix I heard was pretty typical '99 fodder as far as I can recall. It's been a while since I heard it though, so I might change my mind this time.

Just a friendly warning: Theme Of Roarr might be a bit harsher than what you're used to from him. Marc Acardipane played it in his Clubnight-set:

PCP - Live On HR-XXL Clubnight 23.10.93

Belgica Wave Party - The Gate (Bonzai)
Lunatic Asylum - The Meltdown (The Mover At The Gates Of Heaven) (Sony Dance Pool)
Ace The Space - Go Voodoo (Sony Dance Pool)
Magnetic 2 - ? (Dance Ecstacy 2001)
Caution Acid - 3 (100%)
Lt. D'Amato - Sounds Of Frustration (Vivid)
B.B.Bell - Party People (Say No More)
Shoop - Chemically Insane (Shoop)
Krid Snero II - White Line (Say No More)
Dyewitness - What Would You Like To Hear Again? (Midtown)
Jessie Deep - Demoniah (Waf Waf)
Danker - Progressive Transe (Trans'pact Prod.)
B.B. Bell - Drug Lab (Say No More)
Laurie D - Laurie D (Say No More)
No Man's Land - Termination ZX (Bonzai)
Scan X - Metempsychose (FNAC)
Wedlock - Vedlock (Ruffneck)
Katharis - Hypnose (Doss-House)
Nasty Django - King Of Frankfurt (Dance Ecstacy 2001)
White Breaks Vol.2 - ? (White 2)
Thunderball - J*K (Bonzai)
Leroy The Hammer - Are You Down? (Brainstorm)
Nuts - I Wanna Be The Master (5th Gear)
DJ Bounty Hunter II - The Survival (Bonzai)
Alici - Theme Of Roarr (Direct Drive)
Caution Acid - 1 (100%)
Flatliner - ? (Rave 17)
Neophyte - Recession (Rotterdam Music)
DJ Rob & MC Joe - The Beat Is Flown (Rotterdam Music)
ing Hostile - ing Hostile (6th City Mob Remix) (Super Special)
T-Bone Castro - Bitches (Dance Ecstacy 2001)
Syntax Error - Sequence Rape (Dance International)
T.N.T. - Brainwashkiller (Boomroll Prod.)
Joe Inferno - Hysteria (New Music)
Bam-Bam - La Casa (Bonzai)

and as you can see, this set isn't for the fainthearted. ;)
