First off, nothing there is $40, the highest price is $30. These are pretty expensive restaurants... last time I went to Centro was years ago but it definitely came out to more than $30 per person. Take a look at the sites of some of these places and check out the prices on the menus.
Obviously if you'd rather cook for yourself then that's fine - I wouldn't shell out $30 at one of these restaurants either unless it was a special occasion. But hey, maybe some people are looking for a nice place to take their girl/boyfriend or something... |

| There are some $10 fixed menus, but mostly $20 or $30 set menus, and you get 2-4 courses, depending on the place. It's a good way to see a typically very expensive restaurant, for much less. You can see what each restaurant is offering on this site too, so you can decide what sounds appetizing to you. |

this sounds yummmmmmmmmyyyyyyyy---- it would be fun to set a plan to get a group together and all enjoy togethe r- but i don't know how that would ever happen with my schedule!?! oh well - good idea Tatgirl~

Oh, and Taxi Chain are awesome. They're playing on Sunday, Feb. 6 at Nathan Phillips..
I'll be on vacation officially, then, so who wants to come for the outdoor BBQ and good music? |

Ate at Bymark tonight. Very nice place, good food. So upscale... I could never afford to eat at this place normally. 3-course meal for $30, when the appetizer alone normally costs $22!
Unfortunately, Fran was acting like a drunken sailor in there ;) , drunk, loud as hell, cursing up a storm, and slamming his fist on the table to make a point, shutting the whole place up in horror.... :nervous: I think he's banned from there now. ;)
