| Mindcircus is overrated. There were some good remixes of it, though. DJ Dazzle, Fred Numf and Phunk Investigation, in particular. |

It's WoW's song, not a remix. G&D did a remix of it which i didn't think was great, there were another handful of mixes as well.
Why is it so good? The underlying beat IMO is brilliant. A perfect tempo alongside the lyrics which i love as well as the sound of the female's voice. However i'm being a bit biased as it was the first song to get me properly into the electronic scene. I absolutely love it. And think it's timeless.
There are a handful of other brilliant songs from them, and they've only gone and made it more difficult to chose after their last album which again i thought was brilliant. My album of 2004 actually.
Someone mentioned intensify not being mentioned above, i couldn't believe it either. Quality tunes, at the end of the album i think iirc..
:) nelly
edit: The singer who's with them now, and featured on the DLN album is OMI, don't know much more about her though.
Also regarding the above post, i don't think the DLN album is that much worse then the first album as it's been a good while since the first album and i think they've changed their style slightly but that's something that needed to be done. If they had the exact same style as (whenever the first album was made) we'd all be very bored.
Again the above are just my opinions :) |
