How to record with Final Scratch 1.5

I just bought a laptop and final scratch 1.5, so how do you record mixes? I have Nuendo2.0 but it won't read a signal from the scratch amp. Help please.
I used the search button but that did not help.

line out on your mixer to your line-in on your laptop (if it has one), dont use the MIC input, it will sound like poop.
