The Real King of England living in Australia?

I was watching a documentary today and according to this researcher, the king of england should be an aussie named Michael Hastings. Apparently to this researcher, Edward IV is a bastard therefore should not have been eligible to be king and the legitimate line pass to this Mr. Hastings's line.
Funny thing is Mr. Hastings is a peer of England, but he's a republican. (He immigrated when he was 17.)
And that's a random intrusion of the day. Cheers. :D
