Maybe u and Mark are talking about the same guy- perhaps a few hours at Mark's place for a stake out? ;) If there have been complaints about the guy b4, they may already know who you're describing. No animal should have to put up with that crap. They may have their own policing agent, who may be able to drive around and find who you're looking for. It never hurts to call.

I did. What can they do? Nothing. They can't take the dogs away. They can't patrol. They're too busy right now anyway with the bad weather and people leaving their dogs outside. Case in point: remember the guys who skinned the cat? Their sentence? Freedom.

Take comfort in the fact that what goes around comes around. I know it's frustrating, but if you try something, you might get hurt, and that's no good.

He will get what's coming to him, rest assured.

That could have been me.... I was with my dog. I was really mad. I said nasty things I would never have said otherwise.

I was hoping someone would call the cops, as that is just straight up abuse. His dogs should be taken away. The humane society does follow up. Do you know which apartment? And do you have the number of the building on Seaton? I'll call and complain right now!

Unfortunately, I don't know who he is, what unit, etc...I try to ignore the occupants of that building ;)

There's only one apt building on Seaton between Gerrard and Carlton though...so that narrows it down.

There's also a rather, um, obses woman, with uncontrollable and loud kids (harmless though), who has a german sheppard (and maybe another dog). It's completely out of her control and obviously poorly trained...several people I know have witnessed it snapping at people as they walk by...it lunged at one guy this past fall, tearing his pants...she literally paid him off so that he wouldn't call the cops.

pathetic :whip:

I was on my way home from the store on Sunday, heading north on Seaton street from Gerrard, and across the street, this punk-ass kid had two young pitbulls pulling him on rollerblades. He kind of tripped a little over them (he didn't fall over), and the next moment, he's holding one of them by the collar yelling at it "WHAT DID I TELL YOU!", and is thrashing the dog in the head. He hit it 4 times, and I yelled, really angry, "NICE WAY TO TREAT A DOG !" and was in a verbal battle with this freak, who was probably on his way to the beer store down the street.

I had my hands full of bags, and my own dog was with me. The last thing I yelled was "I HOPE YOUR DOGS BITE YOUR FACE OFF!" but what else could I do? I don't know where he lives, and the cops are useless! If my hands weren't full, I would have chased him for sure. He could have had a knife (or a gun). It was horrible to see, and I went home all frazzled, ready to kill someone myself.

And people wonder why pitbulls attack? Holy . That dog is going to end up being put down. Imagine how that guy will treat his kids?

Geez.

HOLY shizzle stix hunni - AAHHHHHHHHH pitbulls are EVIL can-EVIL!!!

I hate them - as u must know - but your dog is sweet and luvs the DJ mix on da nose!!!

well i am happy to read this and see that there was no harm onto you sweets and God damn those dog owners that are PURE S! shame on you! igits!:nervous:

I know exactly who you're talking about there, too! (and I try to ignore that building, too.) Sheppards require more attention than most dogs (If you have kids they have to sleep at a level lower than them, you can't let them on the couch, you can't elevate them at all!)

The woman told me about her dog biting that guy in the pants and said it's because the guy got too close to her. That means her sheppard thinks it has to protect, where it should be the other way around. The family leader (person) is the alpha. So annoying! My brother ruined his sheppard, too. He made it jump up when it was a puppy. Now it knocks his kids over.

It's not the pit bull's fault. Poor puppy. It's treatment like that that makes any dog vicious. What a shame. That's why pits have that reputation. Because of the owners. People just don't know dog behaviour. Little things like, don't smile showing your teeth to a strange dog. They see that as a sign of aggression. Dogs show their teeth when they want to fight. Don't look a strange dog in the eye. Eye contact is what the leader of the pack does, and the first to look away is the "winner" or leader. A strange dog will fight for that seniority in their pack with a stranger. Little things that people aren't aware of can protect them from a dog attack.

the guy who skinned the cat.....

i dont know if anyone remembers this or not,, butt i go to ocad (for those of you who dont know , Ontario College of Art and Design) ,,, and a few years ago, a student here thought that he could get away with filming himself skinning a cat for an art project. not only was he expelled from the school but he was put away for it and is paying consequenses.

i personally dont know how ed this guy coulda been to think he could get away with calling that art.

either way animal cruelty sucks we should go hunt this guy down and steal his dog and not hit it! :)

I keep hoping I don't see this guy while I'm driving. I'll run his ass over.
