Q: How to achieve a certain synth

Hey, there's this since I heard a few times now and I would like to know if anyone knows a way of creating it. It's the lead synth from Phynn - Lucid, and Armin vs M.I.K.E. - Pound, I remember it being another place but I forgot.
Would anyone know how to create that in Reason?

first, just an F.Y.I. ; you should say How to achieve a certain synth SOUND, because a synth is the instrument itself, and if you want to achieve a synth, you have to go out and buy one.. :D
Well, about Phynn - Lucid.. it's Virus allright :) , saw waveforms, many of the (probably 3 with 1 subosc or something), Unison (I don't think Reason's unison will do the trick :/ ), 24db filter?? medium Resonance?? slight delay and reverb...
I don't have Reason on my computer now but I think you can do this with 2-3 maelströms, just screw around and try some stuff :) |
