ACID house/techno Labels and producers reccomendations

I've been really getting into the acid sound lately, ie Roland Tb 303 based stuff. can anyone reccomend me some labels. Also interested in artists, but more interested in the current labels these tracks are being released on.

Labels? Here's something you might like:
- Truelove Label Collective: This is some sort of mega-label which has many many acid techno labels in it. Check their website out.
- Stay Up Forever: Part of the TL collective, this is a major UK acid techno label. Their recent stuff is amazing, specially their "protest" singles.
- Wah Wah Music: Quite recent label, also part of the TL collective, and all its releases are just perfect. Not as banging as some of the stuff you might find in other labels, but quality nonetheles.
- Smitten: Not part of the TL Collective :p It's got some massive tunage of its own, although they don't seem to release new tunes these days. Check out their sub-labels as well: Smitten is dead and XS Recordings.
- C.O.S.H.H.: Part of Kinectic Records, here you find some acid techno parodies, such as the acid techno re-construction of the Batman theme. Funny.
You can find the most important artists in these labels. This is mostly acid techno though, I'm in a hurry and I'll post later about acid trance and acid house :p |
