quite simply....

Ravers suck. Lots. There are no happy endings for the phat-pants junkies.

Born_Slappy.....

1. Phat pants are just larger pants to assist with our huge man-hood.

2. Phat Pants are very simple, we cant squeeze our ass's into designer jeans that cost as much as our cars so we go for a one-size-fits-all look..

3. Also They are really comfortable to wear and esp dance in..

4. I think your forgetting the people in the middle of your perfect world, i myself have more passion for the trance scene than most people would ever! This is very insulting being that i have some friends who do express themselves with alot of colour and drugs but have the same ordeals as i do.

5. Get real you en muzzer!! Your late for your next cement pill!!

nothing you have said has made me think different? maybe you lost any reasonable thought in the great chasm that is your trousers? or maybe in the deep void left somewhere in your gray matter after the wires got switched between reality and rainbows?

im sorry that expressing yourself requires dressing up like a 2 year old and requiring the need for a dummy once again, but if thats what you and your friends like to reduce yourself to, well so be it - continue being the degenerate social misfit that you are, and gain no respect from anyone except those unfortunate enough to be on the same level as you....

The begging question is...
How many people wear phatties coz its apparently "the trademark" of a raver? Dismissing all the previous theories about dancing and comfort ect?

Sorry but her eyes look like they are too far apart or something? :conf:

I wear wider pants when I go out, just because they are way more comfy than normal jeans. They aren't exactly 'phat' tho.

G`Dave
1) Phats are much more comforatble and free moving then jeans, much cooler too and have lots of pocket space.

2) Yes they are a trademark, but I don't see why that should be a negative thing. I think its good that a culture has such a clearly defined icon.

3) If you think they look stupid, don't wear them, that's fine. Personally I think they look great in their environment (I'm opposed to people walking through shopping centers in the middle of the day wearing them).

I think alot of people here should try exercising some tolerance and reasses their idea of what the typical 'raver' is.
PulseFusion
i must say that although i dont don the phatties myself, i do think the rave scene would be less coherent without them... i rekon they are sorta like a raving uniform, phatties for the guys and minis and gators for the ladies ;) :D:D:D and i mean mini ;)

i'm for the phatties :D and no i dont think ravers are bad. i think sweaty blokes that decide to take their shirts off and have to keep ubbing their cold sweaty selves and hug you ought to die though.
