Kind of interesting story behind this one actually... this is by far my most sought after record/cdr/what have you. I have spoken with Mick Wilson on this (and granted this was 4 years after the track was played on Oakey's EM) Mick did not recognize the track at all! He actually thought it was a bootlef of someone laying vocals over the dub or it actually being a live performance with Grace? Just to my untrained ear, it sounded a little different than the Supernatural Dub to me (longer breakdown?).
So I don't really know where that leaves the issue... is it fake? Did Oakey do a special remake? Was it ever REALLY given out? I can't really seem to get to the bottom of it. I may try and see if Mick can ask Mick and John... not too sure if either of thse guys would remember now though...they've probably done 1000's of songs since then. :(

| breakdown is clearly different 2 the dub. the melody comes in very soon after start of breakdown. vocals do not sound live either. |

Well that's not entirly true - there are a handful of CDR's (cat # HOOJ 073 CDRX) which contained the vocal part (the 4 minute breakdown that Oakey mixed into the supernatural dub). These were just sent to the main big DJ names of the time and it was from these that the so-called supernatual mix was made. |
